I've got a thing for clipboards.

My love affair with them began a couple of years ago when I discovered how inexpensive and useful these little guys could be.  I started out making message boards decoupaged with paper and cork,  moved on to wanna-be picture frames and now:

  Family home evening/chore chart boards.

Needless to say, my family is thrilled.

They can run, but they can't hide...

from

THE CHORE CHART.

Despite what they may think, it really was made with

 100%

Pure

Unadulterated

Love.

So, there.

I wouls so any chore you wanted if you would just make make me a cute chore chart.I'd scrub toilets . . .I'd wash dishes . . BUT I will not change /check any kind of rat trap. I don't care how cute that chore chart is.

Adorable! You are so creative and talented! Your clipboard idea is super cute and a good use of space (chores and FHE all in one)! I'm so glad that you share these on your blog. I'm always inspired!

I bet Senecca has all ready JUMPED at the chance to claim the "checking the rat trap" chore for herself. So no worries, Tana! :-)

I would check and discard of the animal in the trap for a chore chart, but if the animal is still alive we'll call in Matt with the shotgun. We need to talk because before BYU-H is Europe. Aaaaah! I'm excited for them, a bit jealous, considering bagging all family responsibilities and you and I can just go.

Michelle, what a wonderful surprise to see your comment this morning on my blog. I loved it.
I forgot to tell you how much I loved your 'holiday' card. It was beautiful. I loved seeing your family living their lives in print. And I love the way you write, it always makes me laugh.
Would you hug Senecca for me and tell her how proud of her I am for getting into BYU-H!

See you all in June

Michelle-this has you stamped all over it. Love the colors and vintage feel, and 2 in one! Go check out Banana Republic at the Shops in Wailea-They had a jumbo size clipboard. . . Made me think of you. I almost asked them where they got it from, so i could get one and make my own!!

Michelle, I keep trying to email you but apparently don't have the correct email address. Will you email me at jakeandcassondra@hotmail.com so I have an email address for you? I would really appreciate it. :)

What are you reading lately??

I just stumbled upon pictures of this house from a friends blog and thought of you. So many things I enjoyed looking at - I hope you do to...

Michelle, you inspire me. I so love how you can turn something like a clipboard into a work of art, and make it useful, too. I was always going to make the perfect FHE/chore chart so I'd have no excuses. In spite of the fact I didn't get the job done, you've all turned out to be pretty wonderful! Proud of you, Mom
